WillowBrook’s Dancin’ Rihanna was born December 30, 2020. Molly is her mother, and Hardy is her dad.
Rihanna is a beautiful dog with a soft coat with longer hair on her ears and beautiful feathering on her legs and long tail. She gets complements everywhere she goes. Anna is mostly white with with some liver. She is a medium sized female at about 46 pounds.
Anna has a personality similar to her mom, Molly, (Molly & Anna in left photo) and grandma Lady (Anna & Lady in center photo). Both Molly and Lady were very happy, birdy dogs. They didn’t need petting all the time and were content just to be around you. They were slightly softer dogs easily intimidated by a more aggressive dog or any harsh words, but were excellent hunters. Lady was competitive in Field Trials and enjoyed meeting all the people at those outings, as everyone loved her.

Anna is a happy dog with tail always wagging. In the house, she is gentle, quiet and reserved. She enjoys entertaining herself by pawing at her ball, then chasing it around the house.
Below are pictures of Anna as a puppy. She was a lively puppy, very happy and adventurous.
In the field, she is a very birdie dog. As a 10 week old pup, she went on a camping trip with us to Texas, where there were lots of black Grackle birds on the ground and picnic tables, which she found very exciting to chase and flush. It really peaked her interest in pursuing birds. As a result, she was extremely easy to train.
Today, Anna quarters beautifully in the field, and uses the wind to locate the bird, then she spins around on a dime and follows the scent into the wind to charge in for the flush. Anna has always loved to retrieve, so that transferred naturally into the field where she goes to retrieve the downed bird and quickly returns with it.
